Overview

This is THE Datsun 240Z! The exact Datsun 240Z that TV reality star and car broker Mike Brewer bought and passed to Edd China for all the mechanical work on the 2015 hit TV show “Wheeler Dealers”. In the episode, Mike Brewer buys this Lime Yellow (color number 112) 1972 Datsun 240Z (chassis number HLS30-77302) from its second owner at the Irvine California Cars and Coffee. At the time of purchase, the car was an automatic, which wasn’t exactly what Mike was looking for. That's where Edd China comes in and swamped it to a 5-speed manual and performed a few performance upgrades including a regrind of the factory camshaft to make it a true driver's car. You can watch the full episode Season 13 episode 2.Today, the 240Z runs and drives as Edd China intended - excellent. The frame and chassis are as straight and rust-free as it gets with 49 year old car that spent most of its life in California. New wheels were added by the previous owner. The odometer currently shows 69,712 miles but true mileage is unknown. For more information please call Kevin at (919)454-7155
